I was a young child when I first took an interest in dogs.  I was at my mother’s friends house.  She had two German Shepherds.  I got excited and jumped up from the sofa and one of the dogs bit me.  It was a tearful surprise for me and the dog who bit me.  Instead of having a growing fear of dogs, I actually started to try figure out why the dog did what it did.

As the years went on I started to understand more about dogs, their behaviour, quirky mannerism’s and much more.  I took an interest in how their minds worked and also in training them for fun.

Once I met and spent time around Karima, I took an even more interest in dog psychology.  The training increased and we then setup Furbabies.  Since the launch I have continued to expand my skillset in training, have adapted, created and evolved many training technics which have proven to be highly successful.  In addition I have got to work with Karima in rehabilitating dogs and shadowed with her, and vice versa.

These days I am in charge of training, but also a behavioural support to Karima and working with her on our Canine100 support for dogs in need, to help many dogs with behavioural issues, including anxieties, fears, phobias and much more.  Together we have helped many dogs and their owners to bond, manage and live happier lives.
